As far as areas of interest to tourists are concerned, which include the historic center, Pelourinho, and the beaches and coastline, there are quite a few bus lines which connect these various points. In particular, there is a special bus line in which it is possible to carry surfboards. It runs from Praça da Sé to Flamengo beach, driving by all beaches on the way.
